Course content

Themes will cover the origin of life, the earliest fossils and their importance in the evolution of life leading to the origin of ourselves.

Learning outcome

The course will provide the basic knowledge necessary for an independent in paleontology/palaeobiology

Lectures, colloquia and working groups - totally 6 hours per week. Obligatory assignments which must be approved.


Final written examination (3 hours) (100 %). Letter grade (A-F)
