This morning and afternoon we have a poster making session and help desk in NHA1020. Please come and check out a printed poster template to get an idea of how the final product will look!
The submission page for your final written projects should now be open in Inspera up until the deadline of May 15th at 12:00 (midday).
Please check that you can access the page and that you understand how submitting works well in advance of the deadline. Get in touch early if you have any technical issues.
The poster session for MAT2000 will take place on June 4th from 10:00 to 12:00 on the 1st floor of Vilhelm Bjerknes' Hus.

We hope everyone is making good progress on their projects! Next Friday we are holding an expanded version of the 'AI for mathematics' workshop that we had in February, which may be of interest to some of you:
How to harness the potential of AI for mathematics while making good judgments and avoiding the pitfalls? What does AI's development mean for YOU as a student of mathematics at UiO? Join us for 'AI for Mathematics', a new workshop and forum to explore these topics together.
This workshop will take place Friday 17 April at 12:00 – 15:00, at Niels Henrik Abels hus room 209and will be held in English. We welcome all students enrolled in a masters (or bachelors) program in mathematics, with all levels of (self-rated) AI expertise to contribute to the discussion.

Whether it is an outline, a paragraph, some scattered notes or questions, it's never too early to start writing for your project! And where better to force yourself into it than in a structured setting, in a distraction-free environment, surrounded by your hard-working peers?
Join us at Shut Up and Write for Natural Sciences (incl. mathematics) for masters and bachelors students, this Friday 6 March at 9:00 to 12:00 at the Science Library's classroom in your own building, NHA 209. See more information below:
Shut Up and Write for Natural Sciences
Hope to see you there! :)
On Wednesday you will deliver 5 minute presentations a topic surrounding your project at the chalk board. You will also act as active audience members for the other presentations.
You should have received a message over canvas indicating which session (morning or afternoon) you are taking part in. If not, get in touch!
If you can, please bring a device with overleaf/LaTex to class on Wednesday morning on February the 11th. If this is not possible we will find other solutions for you to participate in the workshop.
Tuesday February 9th at 15:00 in Abels Utsikt there will be the What is...? seminar with coffee, tea, cake, and two 15 minute general audience talks. More information can be found here:
