  • Overview of Nordic registries (variables, laws, regulations, and more)
  • Methodology for registry research (designs, minimizing bias, and more)
  • Management of registry data (sources of errors, merging data, and more)
  • Practical examples and exercises (conducting analyses, access to data, writing protocols, and more)

Prerequisites

Formal prerequisite knowledge

 

Basic knowledge about the following is required: 

  • Statistics (including linear regression, logistic regression, Cox regression, …)
  • Epidemiology (including causal inference, bias, …)
  • Programming (preferably R, Stata or SAS)
