Erasmus Without Paper at UiO

The University of Oslo is connected to the Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) network and has implemented the use of EWP Dashboard in order to start the exchange of information with its Erasmus+ partners through EWP.

Organisational structure at The University of Oslo (UiO)

UiO has a decentralised structure and all Erasmus+ agreements are owned and managed at faculty and departmental level.

All questions about Erasmus+ agreements (renewals and proposals), and about student's Learning Agreements (LA/OLA), must be directed to the relevant unit at faculty or department level. See below for contact information.

Online Learning Agreement (OLA)

UiO has implemented the OLA for incoming and outgoing mobility for studies.

Inter Institutional Agreements (IIA)

It is UiO's goal to eventually, and as soon as possible, to have all agreements signed via EWP. The EWP Dashboard does however not yet comply with UiO's needs for archiving and signing of agreements. UiO will therefore, if given the choice:

1. opt for paper-based IIAs or terms of agreements made by e-mail for renewals of 2014-2020 agreements

2. opt for paper-based IIAs or terms of agreement made by e-mail for entering new agreements (2021-2028),

3. share IIA digital data via EWP, but not sign any agreement in EWP before improvements are made in both EWP and the EWP Dashboard.

We kindly ask Erasmus+ partners to contact their counterparts at departmental or faculty level by email for all inquiries regarding IIAs and renewals of IIAs.

Erasmus+ cooperation with UK institutions

All UiO Erasmus+ agreements with partners in the UK have automatically been renewed until 31 May 2023. Outgoing students from UiO to UK partners will receive grants for the autumn semester 2022 and for the spring semester 2023.

We urge partners in the UK to contact their agreement counterparts at departmental or faculty level for more information about further bilateral cooperation outside of the Erasmus+ programme.
