Kultrans undersøker endringsprosesser i samfunnet – likhet og forskjell, kontinuitet og brudd, tradisjon og innovasjon innenfor ulike kommunikasjons- og menings-sammenhenger, ulike kulturer. I fokus står effektene av globaliseringen, både i et historisk og et samtidig perspektiv, både lokalt og globalt. [English]
