Erasmus+ is a European exchange programme, and students who exchange through the programme will receive a grant. The Erasmus+ programme offer grants for both studies and traineeships.
Erasmus+ includes all 28 EU membership countries, the EEA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and partners in Macedonia, Serbia og Turkey.
UiO has Erasmus+ agreements with universities in most European countries.
Note! Due to COVID-19, valid health insurance and travel insurance is mandatory in order to receive an Erasmus+ grant.

Brexit: Erasmus+ exchange to the UK
The United Kingdom left the EU on the 31 January 2020. For the academic year 2020/2021, there will be a transition period where exchange with Erasmus+ between Norway and the UK continues as normal.
