Quiet rooms for resting

There are rooms available for resting at some of the buildings on campus. There is a slight difference between faculties and the libraries, and we recommend you to contact your faculty to navigate you on how to get access to these rooms.     

This is a list over buildings that provide rooms for resting:  

Domus Academia

At Domus Academia there is one quiet room. The room is located in the basement floor and equipped with a bed and a sink.

Domus Juridica

At Domus Juridica there is two rooms available. Room number 5238 and 3244. Both rooms are equipped with a chair and daybed.

Domus Medica

At Domus Medica you will find a room for resting on 1st floor, reading hall B. The roomes is labeled with "Katabomben.

Eilert Sundts hus

At Eilert Sundts hus (Block A) you will find one room for resting in the basement floor, labeled K22. This room is equipped with a bed.

Georg Sverdrups hus

At Georg Sverdrups hus / HumSam-library you will find on room for resting in the basement floor near the chocolate machine. The room is equipped with a sofa with pillow and blanket, an armchair, a table, toilet, sink and shower. 

To use this room, visit the counter at the library to register and get access to the key.

Harald Schjelderups hus

There are two resting rooms at Harald Schjelderups hus. 

Room 409 is equipped with a bench/bed, camp bed, pillows, blankets, two desks, to chairs and a desk lamp. 

Room 410 is equipped with a bench/bed, pillows, blankets, two chairs, two desks, computer, scanner and desk lamp on each desk.

Harriets Holters hus

At Harriets Holters hus you wiil find the room for resting in the basement floor, labeled K24.

Helga Engs hus

At Helga Engs hus you will find the quiet room at the basement floor, labeled U26/U27. The room is equipped with a small bed, a table, chair and a sink in the vestibule.

Kristine Bonnevies hus

At Kristine Bonnevies hus you will find the quiet room in the basement floor, labeled U194.

Niels Henrik Abels hus

On the second floor at the Science Library in Niels Henrik Abels hus you will find a quiet room labebled "Bjørnehjørnet".  The room is equipped with a sofa. Visit the counter at the libabry to get access to this room.

P.A Munchs hus

At P. A. Munchs Hus you will find the quiet room on the 1st floor, room number 148.

Updated January 13 2021: Admission cards to the room can be handed out by contacting the counter at the library on the 2nd floor at Sophus Bugge, which is open between 9.00 and 16.00. The room is equipped with antibac and paper covers due to Covid-19. 

Sophus Bugge

At Sophus Bugge you will find the quiet room in the basement floor, labeled K06 (next to the ladies room). 

A key to this room will be handed out at the counter at the library on the second floor, between 9 am - 4 pm.
