STK4000 – Special curriculum and seminar
Master level students have the option of taking a special course with topics selected to be of particular relevance for their intended Master thesis. Material for the course is put together in cooperation with the thesis supervisor, and the course proceeds on a self-study basis under the supervision. The course ends by the student giving a seminar on a particular topic selected some two weeks earlier by the supervisor.
Students who are admitted to study programmes at UiO must each semester register which courses and exams they wish to sign up for in Studentweb.
If you are not already enrolled as a student at UiO, please see our information about admission requirements and procedures.
