Board elections
The employees and students at the University of Oslo elect the internal members of the University Board. Ordinary elections take place every four years while representatives of fixed-term academic staff and the student body are elected every year.
Election of fixed-term academic staff to the University Board 2022
May 23 to 27, 2022 we elect representatives for the fixed-term academic staff to the University Board. The representatives are elected for the period August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023.

The external board members are nominated by the Ministry of Education and Research on the basis of proposals by the outgoing Board.
The elections are governed by the Universities and Colleges Act and the Election Regulations for the University of Oslo.
