Election platform

As a PhD Candidate, I strive to do my best while employed at the University of Oslo. In order to do so, I need:

  • to be surrounded by researchers who inspire and motivate me,
  • to know what is expected of me so that I can divide my time responsibly between research,  teaching and other duties,
  • rules and regulations that support and protect the ability to do my job,
  • to be able to grow as a researcher, through e.g. courses, conferences and stays abroad,
  • to know that my work is relevant for my future,
  • to feel that the position I have and the job I do is valued by my research group, my institute, my faculty and my university.

Whereas I am a PhD Candidate, and these are the things I require to do my best, any temporary employee needs to be able to do their best. The University has a commitment to me, and to you, to make this possible. If elected to the University Board, I will strive to make the University uphold this commitment.
