WiFi, The wireless network at UiO, eduroam

The wireless network at UiO is called Eduroam. The network requires a login. You can log in with:

  • username and password from UiO
  • username and password from another institution affiliated with Eduroam
  • username and password you get as a guest or conference participant

Getting started

The wireless network may be used by students, staff and faculty members at the UiO and all visitors.

Remember to use @uio.no when logging in

It is now obligatory to use @uio.no after your username when you connect to the wireless network, eduroam. Users who have logged in with only their username will be sent to this page when logging in. This has been done to ensure that the users get the correct access and also so that the users are able to log in at other eduroam institutions.
