Touchscreen Music at Elvelangs

Ensemble Metatone reformed as an Oslo-based collective to perform a 3-hour continuous improvisation at the Elvelangs i Fakkelys in September 2017.

In this event, live art and music is situated all the way along the river Akers and visitors walk (down hill) from the edge of Oslo's northern forest all the way down to the fjord. It's held every year around the autumn equinox and includes around 150 installations and many thousands of spectators!

The performers were were members of Departments of Informatics and Musicology at the University of Oslo as well as the Norwegian Academy of Music. It was wonderful to perform with a multidisciplinary and varied group!
