Information about course introduction + updated course plan
Dear all
The start of the DIGHEL4370 course is moving closer and I am looking forward to launching it together with you.
This email is and foremost to inform you that I have updated the course plan a bit, mostly regarding suggested readings. This information is now on the course page. In addition, you can access a complete course overview, also containing information about mandatory assignments here.
Furthermore, here is some additional information:
- First lecture: It is very important to attend this session as I will form groups that day. If you prevented from participating that day for legitimate reasons (disease etc.) please send me an email that includes information about your academic background (health or informatics) so that I can include you in one of the groups. Also, you will be introduced to the problem case this day with a guest presentation by Breno Horsth from the HISP Centre.
- Mandatory activities: During the course, all groups are required to submit 1 deliverable per week, with a deadline on Tuesdays 23.59 before each teaching session (except for the first week). Please find details about these deliverables in the course overview (link). Since you are submitting these deliverables as a group, you may consider distributing responsibility for the different deliverables between the group members. Beyond this, there is not mandatory attendance, but since the course is based on group work, I will of course highly encourage you to participate in all sessions, and if you are prevented (by instance by disease) to make agreements within the group on you can still contribute to the project.
Kind regards,
Troels Mønsted
