The exam dates for IN3015/4015 will be:
Monday the 30th November, Tuesday the 1th December.
Depending on how many qualify for the exam, we might be able to do it on one day. Will get back to a detailed schedule. See more info on the exam in slide 2 from the lecture in module 4, however notice that we had to switch one day of the exam compared to what was stated in the lecture.
If you have a particular reason why you can only do one of the days please let me know (omrindal@uio.no).
Lab exercise (Doppler)
BRING A MEMORY STICK TO THE LAB!
In this module exercise, you will visit the DSB lab (room 4368, 4th floor, Call Bartosz if you cannot find the way or enter from the elevator)
These laboratory sessions will involve hands-on exercises using the clinical scanner in groups of 2 students. Please sign up for a time slot by adding your name to the registration sheet: Doppler_exercise_signup
The exercise text is here!
If you cannot register or there are any other problems, please contact: bartoszt@uio.no

Sonair is a deep-tech startup that has grown out of the strong ultrasound community in Oslo, including SINTEF and the University of Oslo. We are revolutionizing the robotics industry with ADAR (Acoustic Detection and Ranging) - a groundbreaking 3D ultrasound sensor that enables autonomous mobile robots (AMR) to "hear" obstacles in 3D around them. Our sensor uses advanced pMUT sensors (MEMS) and real-time signal processing to detect objects, including challenging objects such as transparent glass walls, with a field of view of up to 180° x 180°. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the world's first safety-certified 3D ultrasound sensor at one of Norway's most exciting technology companies!

You should be able to install MATLAB through registering with your UiO email here: https://se.mathworks.com/academia/tah-portal/university-of-oslo-30885740.html
To "install" the USTB you need to clone the repository at https://github.com/unioslo/USTB
Feel free to also give the repository a star ;)
Sign up! You will learn how to create an image of the human heart as below using The UltraSound ToolBox (USTB):

Or awesome images of ships on the seabottom using SONAR technology:

And do you want to understand state-of-the-art technology (ADAR Acoustic Detection and Ranging) from the up-and-coming Norwegian startup Sonair creating 3D ultrasound sensors for autonomous robots?
