In this last seminar, you may ask about previous exams, including the one linked in the time table from 2024. Do also look at the exams published in the 2025 web pages.

The mock exam has now been posted in Inspera, so you may do a test-run at any time you like. It should also be possible to do it several times. It it's a bit too early to discuss it on Thursday. If there is a demand, please ask, and we may arrange a Q&A next Thursday, May 28th. 

In any case, solution notes for the mock exam will be published in the end of next week. 

Professor Frode Eika Sandnes, OsloMet, will this week hold a guest lecture on Usability and Accessibility testing. Remember, all guest lectures are relevant for the final exam.

He is one of the leading researchers in Norway related to innovative user interfaces and universal design and has more than 300 publications.

Yulai de Meer Fjeld from Relato will this week hold a guest lecture on Exploratory testing. Remember, all guest lectures are relevant for the final exam.

The guest lecture this week is unfortunately cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. This weeks seminar will focus on the second mandatory assignment.

The second compulsory assignment

Students must form groups of 2 to 4 people themselves. Attend the weekly seminars if you need help. Deadline is Friday May 1st.

Since the deadline of the first compulsory assignment is Friday, this weeks Thursday-lecture is moved to the first Thursday after the Easter break, so that you can concentrate on the assignment this week. There will as usual be a seminar on Thursday at 12:15 and this seminar will be focused on last minute help for those of you who still haven't finished the first assignment. Since there was only a single student attending Tuesday, this seminar is cancelled, so that both seminar teachers may attend Thursday.

 If you are having issues in the Playwright task with previously registered users disappearing, you can assume they have been deleted. Create a function that automates the registration process and start each test suite by calling the registration function. See a more detailed suggestion from an Itera-tester below.

The company Itera gives a guest lecture on Test Automation in Playwright Thursday March 12th. The lecture is relevant for the first compulsory assignment! And the assignment related to playwright has now been added if you follow the link above. 

NB! The guest lecture will NOT be recorded and it will be in Norwegian with English slides! 

After the break, there will be a practical demo using Playwright, VS code and the Chromium browser, so please install this as instructed in the Playwright installation guide in the TP (timeplan) schedule, before class.

Part 1 is related to the guest lecture on Thursday March 12, and will be published on that day. The remaining three parts are described in the assignment. 

Note! There will be no recordings of this lecture, so make sure to be physically present to learn what you need to solve Part 1.

Forelesningen torsdag 19. februar i Test Driven Development (TDD) vil følge slides som ligger ute i timeplanen og den vil bli mer praktisk enn vanlig, så det er viktig å ha med laptop slik at man kan skrive unit-tester og kode på https://cyber-dojo.org

Det vil desverre  bare være to grupper å velge mellom.
