The exam is over, and hopefully you all managed to solve the problems! Suggested solutions to the problems can be found here. Thanks for attending the course, and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!

During the exam the only permitted aid is an "approved calculator". See list of approved calculators here. If you do not have an approved calculator, there is no need to worry as the problems do not require the use of this.

In the remaining lectures we will go through problems from old exams. The problems can be downloaded here. Included in this collection of old exams is also a new trial exam. The three problems in the trial exam are listed after the old exams. Lecture notes including solutions to all exams can be found in the schedule or in the lecture notes directory.

The mandatory assignment is now available here. The deadline for the assignment is October 27, at 14:30. Good luck!

Sigurd Kjelsbøl Huse is elected as student representative for the course.

This year we hope that most of the teaching would be given as an ordinary lecture in a seminar room, possibly with a few exceptions that will be announced in due time. Note that a revised version of the textbook is now available here. Quite a lot of new material has been added especially programming examples in python. This also implies that there are substantial parts of the textbook that will not be included in the curriculum. A tentative description of the curriculum will be available shortly.
