There are several ways for you to install Python depending on your system and preferences. Here is a list of options, where we recommend the first ones. Click the links to read more about each option:

UiO gives students access to a free license for MATLAB.

Important: If you are installing anything into your own computer, please make a backup of all your data before proceeding. Even though these methods should be safe, there is always the risk of computer havoc during software installations. We cannot take any responsibility for data loss and are unable to give data recovery support if anything should happen.
