• The collection of formulae for the course. (In English, Bokmål or Nynorsk). You need to print and bring this yourself, it will not be provided.

The English version of the collection of formulae that you may use on the final exam has now been updated with the conventions used in the lectures. You can find the new version here.

For the last two seminars I will help you with solving exam problems from previous years. 

I uploaded a new version of the suggested solutions to assignment 11, where I included a simpler and more insightful answer to part 2f. Check it out if you found the argument from the continuity equation difficult.

As the normal deadline for mandatory assignment 11 would fall on the 1st of May, the deadline has been extended by one day to Tuesday, 2nd of May.

Due to illness, there will unfortunately be no seminar today.

Due to an oversight, it was not possible to deviler the assignment for this week until today. You can now deliver it at the usual place, devilry.ifi.uio.no

It should now be possible to hand in the second mandatory assignment at devilry.ifi.uio.no. Hand it in by Monday, 12:00 am.

Suggested solutions for mandatory assignment 1 is now available under "Oppgaver".

The Devilry system for delivering assignments will not be ready in time for the first mandatory assignment. You can therefore deliver the assignment by email to audun.skaugen@fys.uio.no

Send it by Monday at 12:00. Future assignments should be delivered at devilry.ifi.uio.no.

The first lecture will be given on January 18. Please note that the lectures will take place in the new auditorium on the ground floor of the east wing of the Physics Building, not "Lille fysiske auditorium".
