Please observe that Optical MEMS is not included in the curriculum.

Eksamenstimeplanen er lagt ut på studentweb (FS). Hver kandidat vil finne sin tid ved å logge seg inn der. Pga. mulige endringer må imidlertid alle møte kl 09:00!

The schedule for the oral examination has been posted on studentweb (FS) where the candidates will find their exact time. Please observe that all candidates have to be present at 09:00, in case of any changes to the time table!

A list of typical questions for an oral examination has been posted on Pensum/læringskrav.

A repetition lecture will be held on June 5., - the week before the oral examinations. Please observe that there will be no lecture on May 29.

A note describing the use of Architect (a part of CoventorWare) has been uploaded. The note gives some hints about how to avoid error messages and how to use the program with the correct licences. There are two notes, one in norwegean and one in english. The notes are located in the "obliger" page.

There will be a group lecture tomorrow April 1st at 14:15 as usual. The first obligatory assignment is explained and the second obligatory assignment is introduced. Groups that have not passed the first obligatory assignment has a chance to correct this and send in a corrected version which is due this friday (April 4th). The second obligatory assignment starts this friday (April 4th) and ends May 16th.

No groups on 18. and 25. March.

An exercise on Optical MEMS is now available. Professor Olav Solgaard will go through this exercise tuesday February 26th. A document showing when the different groups use the software tool CoventorWare has been uploaded.

Please observe that professor Olav Solgaard, Stanford University, California, will give the course lectures on 21. and 28. February, 10:15 - 12 in 3A!

The oral examination will take place on Wednesday 11. June and Thursday 12. June. A detailed list will be set up later on.

Det er obligatorisk fremmøte på første forelesning, torsdag 24. januar.

Professor Olav Solgaard, Stanford University, USA, vil holde gjesteforelesninger i emnet, uke 8 og 9 (21. og 28. februar).

Solgaard har forskningsopphold ved SINTEF IKT/ UiO, våren 2008 (Leif-Eiriksson-stipend, administrert fra SMN: "Senter for materialvitenskap og nanoteknologi"). http://www.stanford.edu/~solgaard/
