Unfortunately, I am still unwell and therefore have to cancel the lecture scheduled for Thursday, October 22nd. The next lecture will take place on Monday, October 26th, and the schedule for the remainder of the course has been adjusted accordingly.

Please note that, as previously announced, there will be no lectures on Thursday, October 29th, or Thursday, November 12th. However, two additional lectures have been scheduled:

• Monday, November 2nd:14:15–16:00, Room 126
• Monday, November 23rd:14:15–16:00, Room 126

With these adjustments, we still have ample time to cover the entire syllabus.

Thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately, due to illness I have to cancel the lecture on Monday, October 19th. Hopefully, I’ll be back in a few days and be able to lecture on Thursday, October 22nd. I will post a revised schedule for the remaining course.

The lecture on Thursday, October 8th, 12.15-14.00 is cancelled! Thus, the next lecture will be on Monday, October 12th, 10.15-12.00 at "Undervisningsrom 1119".

There will also be an extra lecture on Monday, October 12th, 14.15-16.00 at "Undervisningsrom 126" where we will go through the exercises 4.13, 4.14, 4.15, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4.

The mandatory assignment is now available and can be downloaded here. The deadline for the assignment is Thursday 22nd October 2026, 14:30 in Canvas (canvas.uio.no). The assignment is based on the lectures scheduled for September 28th.

Good luck!
