Schedule, syllabus and examination date
Course content
SOS9006 is the final dissertation seminar in the PhD programme and is normally completed in the period leading up to thesis submission. The seminar supports candidates in finalizing the dissertation by combining structured feedback on submitted dissertation material with guidance on the final stages of the PhD process, including submission procedures, the assessment phase, and the post-submission process. This seminar applies to both article-based dissertations and monographs.

After completing the seminar, the PhD candidate should:
- Have received structured feedback on the submitted dissertation material from an appointed opponent, seminar leaders, and peers.
- Be better prepared to revise and finalize the dissertation for submission.
- Understand key academic and administrative aspects of the final phase of the PhD, including submission procedures and the post-submission stage.
- Be able to identify the most important remaining steps towards completion.
