About the artists

Rooted in a tradition where music, nature, and way of life are closely connected, Huun-Huur-Tu work with sound in a way that creates a distinct sonic landscape of overtones, undertones, and rhythms produced directly by the voice.

Since their formation in the early 1990s, the quartet has established itself as a clear voice on the international scene. They have toured extensively for decades, often performing a high number of concerts each year, reaching both established venues and new audiences.
