About the artist
Maria Solheim broke through as a young Northern Norwegian pop artist at the age of 19. Since then, she has travelled the world with her music. After several years of prestigious nominations, she received the Spellemann Prize in 2020. She has released eight solo albums, three children's records and participated in several collaborative releases. Maria has sung at royal christenings and confirmations, embarked on numerous European tours and performed concerts in both the USA and Asia. After a break of many years, she released a new full-length album with lyrics in Norwegian in 2025: Over fjellet.
