About the artists
Purified in Blood was formed in Sandnes in 2003, and has since established itself as one of the most uncompromising names in Norwegian hardcore and metal. With roots in hardcore, crossed with sludge and extreme metal, the band has built a sound marked by heaviness and raw, primal intensity across five albums.
Since their debut, the band has shared the stage with international heavyweights such as Slayer, Mastodon and Gojira, toured at home and abroad countless times, and earned a reputation as a band that delivers uncompromisingly at full force, whether on club stages or at festivals.
Now the Sandnes band is once again working on a new album – and there is a high probability that new songs will find their way to the stage during the upcoming concerts.
