MED-LAMU is the faculty’s overarching working environment committee. It works to promote a safe, positive and inclusive working environment for all employees. The committee considers matters that affect the working environment, follows up the faculty’s health, safety and environment (HSE) work, and helps ensure that important working environment issues are addressed.
The 2027–2028 term
Two employee representatives and two deputy representatives will be elected for the 2027–2028 term.
MED-LAMU has subcommittees at IMB, Klinmed and NCMBM, which consider matters at the department level. From 1 January 2027, Helsam will also have its own subcommittee. Separate elections are held for these subcommittees. In addition, MED-LAMU serves as the local working environment committee for the faculty administration.
The committee holds six regular meetings each year, lasting approximately two hours each. Necessary training in working environment matters will be provided.
