Unfortunately, problem 2 was incomplete. Here is a revised version of the assignment with a complete problem 2. I have revised the requirement for passing the assignment accordingly.

Velkommen til MAT4410. Vi følger hovedsakelig "An introduction to functional analysis" av James C. Robinson.

Welcome to MAT4410. We will follow  "An introduction to functional analysis" by James C. Robinson as primary reference. We refer to this as [R]. We start with a short presentation of the course and a brief summary of what is expected  to be known from earlier courses (such as much of chapters 1-4). We will also use the notes written by Erik Bédos (referred to by [B]) as supplementary literature.
