Invitation to the Karlstad conference
Between 27-28 March 2019, TIK is co-organizing a conference called "People and Networks Matter - Enabling Sustainable Bioeconomy Transition" at Karlstad University, Sweden.
We would like to offer 3 TIK students the possibility to attend the conference and support them with a TIK scholarship (covering the costs of transport, hotel and conference meals).
The conference covers a variety of issues related to the bioeconomy, green transition, and natural resource management, with an emphasis on local and regional innovation in the Scandinavian context.
You can read the conference programme here: https://www.kau.se/en/crs/conference/people-and-networks-matter-enabling-sustainable-bioeconomy-transition-27-28-march-1
It is a good opportunity for learning, networking and interacting with practitioners, policymakers, and international academics. From TIK, professor Olav Wicken and postdoc Julia Szulecka will be participating.
If you are interested, please write a motivation letter (maximum 1 page) and send it to Julia Szulecka and Lene Angelskår by March 1st. The selected applicants will be informed shortly after the deadline.
