You're required to have an access card to enter UiO's buildings. To order it you will need a passport or national ID card.
Before your first day
A few days before you start you will receive an SMS from UiO with your username. Then follow these steps:
- Set a password for your UiO account at Password services.
- Set up two‑factor authentication.
- Have your passport or national ID card ready.
- Order an access card in the UiO ID app:
If you cannot use the UiO ID app, you must visit the Card Centre (Kortsenteret) to have your photo taken. Bring a valid photo ID.
On your first day
Bring a valid photo ID. Go to the Card Centre to collect your access card.
