Changes to access permissions

The door to the stairwell from the second floor of Eilert Sundts hus is now open, and the door to the fourth floor requires an access card.

The faculty administration informs about the following changes to access permissions in Eilert Sundts hus, block B:

  • Stairwell from the second floor: The door is now open during working hours, and an access card is no longer required.
  • Access to the fourth floor: The doors are now locked and require an access card.

These changes have been implemented to give students easier access to lecture rooms, and to reduce the demand on the lifts. During the spring, two rooms on the third floor will be converted into lecture rooms. Previously, bachelor students could only access the third floor via lift, which was not an efficient use of the lifts. Therefore, the stairwell has now been opened from the second floor to enable students to use the stairs for their lectures.

At the same time, the doors to the fourth floor have been adjusted to require an access card to maintain the security of the floor.
