Use the opportunity to get an updated, professional portrait photo

The Faculty of Social Sciences encourages all staff to have a new portrait taken and to update their staff profile. In Eilert Sundts hus, you can be photographed by a professional photographer – with high-quality lighting and upgraded equipment.

Why is it important to have a new photo and an updated personal profile, both for academic and administrative employees?

  • A current photo shows what you look like today – and good, professional images are in demand from journalists.
  • Visibility in search engines – your personal profile often appears near the top of results when someone searches for your name.
  • Used by students, journalists and collaborators – personal profiles are an important tool to find the right expertise.
  • Gives you control over your professional identity – your personal profile is your digital business card.
  • Important for applications – selection committees consider personal profiles when reviewing applications.
