How to do it:
1. Contact the Informatics library and give them the report title and all author names to get your three digit report number and an ISBN.
2. The ISSN of the series is: 0806-3036.
3. Use the Research Report front page template (.pdf) or Latex.
4. Upload the report to Cristin and register as the document type "report". If you, for some reason, do not want the report to be accessible online, you should not upload it.
5. Reports uploaded to Cristin as fulltext documents, are harvested to UiO's institutional repository, DUO, freely available online. There will be a few days' delay before the report shows up in DUO.
Would you like to make changes to an already published Research Report?
You will have to do the following two things:
1. When you upload the revised file, please make sure that the file name shows that this is a revised version, using the following form: revised-restoffilename.pdf. (A second revision should be named revised2-restoffilename.pdf and so on.)
2. In Cristin: Remember to check "yes" in the field Revised (is the work a revision of a previous edition?).
As any revision generates extra work on the publishing staff, please keep the number of revisions to a minimum.
