Learning outcome
After completing this course, you
- understand the fundamental building blocks of a communication system and their corresponding signal processing techniques
- have insight into the fundamental performance limitations and how to design optimal functions/methods to limit the error probability of the information
- are able to read and understand modern wireless standards both in order to design systems and to evaluate performance
- have the competance to investigate standards and systems, and to assess their suitability for various applications
