Are you planning to apply for externally funded research projects with ILOS as the project owner and yourself as the project leader, or as a partner in a project application submitted by another institution?

Your project application must be approved by the department before it can be submitted. The department’s leadership and research-support team need time to familiarize themselves with the project and assess the costs of implementation. Therefore, providing timely notification is crucial.
In addition to research advisers, the research support team includes the Head of Research and financial advisers. The team assists with developing the project and preparing the budget.

ILOS prioritizes project applications from the department’s permanent academic staff. Project applications from external applicants and temporary academic staff (PhD candidates and postdoctoral fellows) undergo particularly careful review before approval.
Please note that applications to any funding body outside ILOS (including those within the Faculty of Humanities or UiO) are considered applications for externally funded research.
