Access to Canvas
All students, teachers and administrative employees have who are connected to teaching activities (via FS) have access to Canvas. If you do not have access, contact your faculty's Canvas coordinator.
How to use Canvas
→ Autumn 2026: Webinar 'Introduction to Canvas', and 1-to-1 help with Canvas
Teachers and administrative employees at the University of Oslo are invited to a 45-minute webinar "Introduction to Canvas" on August 27, 2026.
The webinar will be held in English and is relevant for new Canvas users, both academic and administrative employees and provides an overview of the basic functions and guidance on how you use Canvas as an employee.
In addition, from September 21-25 you can book a 30-minute session if you need individual help with Canvas. This "digital help week" for Canvas aims to give you exactly the guidance you are looking for, when it works for you.
