Invitation to Climate Society kick-off meeting

Are you curious about your role in climate change?

Join the Climate Society kick-off on Friday 21 August and find out how human geographers can play a leading role in a changing climate.

Climate Society is a meeting place for students, researchers and others who are interested in climate change and society. The network is based at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography at the University of Oslo.

This coming Friday we invite you to learn about Climate Society, what we do and what´s in it for you. Our approach is experimental and based on curiosity: we want to listen, learn and challenge some of our assumptions about what is or is not possible in a changing climate.

As always the threshold is low and the meeting is open to anyone who is interested – students and employees, whether you are already engaged in climate change or just curious to learn more about the challenge and the potentials for social change.
