Table of Contents

Is the form anonymous?

As a respondent, you can see whether the form is anonymous in the upper-left corner of the form.

An anonymous form does not store IP address, username, submission time, or other information about the person responding. Nettskjema's internal event log will also not link the response event to login or submission.

An anonymous form must not contain questions about personal ID, full name, username, email address, or attachments. Please note that combinations of questions may result in the form becoming personally identifiable. You may be indirectly identifiable through questions about occupation, gender, and age in combination with institutional affiliation.

The form owner is responsible for the design of the form, ensuring that privacy is safeguarded in accordance with applicable legislation, and that the necessary measures have been taken to ensure anonymity. How to ensure anonymity in Nettskjema as a form owner.

What is collected depends on how the form has been designed and how you received the invitation to respond:

Forms without login

Only the information displayed as questions in the form will be made available to those who manage the form.

Forms with login via a link sent by email/SMS

If you open the form via an invitation sent by email or SMS, your email address or phone number, respectively, will be stored.

Forms with login via Feide

Only the information displayed as questions in the form is stored. If you have logged in via Feide, Email address, Username, and Name may be automatically filled in and stored together with the response if the form contains these question types. If these questions are not included in the form, this information is not stored.

Forms with login via ID-porten (BankID/MinID)

Only the information displayed as questions in the form is stored. If you have logged in via ID-porten, National ID number, Email address, Name, and Phone number may be automatically filled in and stored together with the response if the form contains these question types. If these questions are not included in the form, this information is not stored.

Submission time and last modified

The date and time of the first response, and of the last modification of the response, are stored if the form allows submitted responses to be edited.

Receipt and copy of response

If the form is open to everyone, the email address you provide is stored if you request a receipt by email. The email address is stored only to send you the receipt. It is not shared with those who created the form.

Cookies

The cookie created in your browser when you respond does not contain any reference to the form ID or name. No part of your response is stored on the computer you use to respond. Your browser history may show the form address/ID, but not the content that was submitted.
