Reduction of undernutrition and obesity globally: The role of a human rights-based approach in the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition

What are the arguments for applying a human rights-based approach to malnutrition in all forms, and related diseases? What are the “added values” through such an approach?  What obligations do states have to help implement the right to food and health for their populations? How can we develop strong regulatory frameworks to reduce food businesses’ marketing of unhealthy foods to children?

Welcome to an open international interdisciplinary seminar linking law, human rights and nutrition!
