With the exception of the Norwegian Center for Human Rights, the Human Resources Administration is centralized at the faculty-level.

We who work with staff assist employees and managers, and are responsible for administrative procedures and counseling in connection with recruitment, employment, extension and termination of employment, leave, sick leave, employment law, etc.

Personnel officers do case processing in connection with recruitments, extensions, resignations, leave and registration of working hours and holidays.

Institute of Basic Medical Sciences

Personnel officers carry out the administrative processing of the Institute's recruitments and conducts case processing and counseling related to employee working conditions. This includes conditions relating to extensions, resignations, leave and absence, etc.

Employee requests are preferably sent through e-mail, and meetings with staff consultants are agreed in advance as far as possible; This ensures faster response time and efficient case processing. Personal cases can be placed in the post shelf at the Personnel Section or in the Administration.

Institute of Clinical Medicine

The Personnel Section is the Institute's professional competence in HR and personnel management. The section assists employees and managers, and is responsible for administrative procedures and counseling in connection with recruitment, employment, extension and termination of employment, leave, sick leave, employment law, etc.

The tasks of the Personnel and Human Relations Office at the Faculty are to:

  • advise and support faculty management in personnel policy and HR activities
  • be a counselor for the faculty subunits in personnel matters
  • support the faculty's subunits in recruitment and follow-up of employees

The Office is also the link between the Faculty subunits and key support functions, such that notifications of employment, salary, leave, resignation, placement in the HR portal (not travel expenses claims), etc. are administered by this group.

The Section for Human Resources at the Museum of Cultural History shall:

  • advise senior management in all personnel matters
  • advise section and department managers in all personnel matters
  • assist employees
  • assure the quality of project applications throughout the process in the Museum's project portal

The Section for Human Resources is also the link between the Museum and key support functions, such that notifications of employment, salary, leave, resignation, placement in the HR portal (not travel expenses claims), etc. are administered by this Section.
