Lunch meeting for researchers with an international background

The Faculty Committee for Equality and Diversity (Likestillings- og mangfoldsutvalget, LiMU) invites all researchers with an international background at the Faculty of Law to a lunch meeting.

The aim is to get to know each other better, and to talk about your experiences of being a researcher at the Faculty of Law.

We will serve lunch followed by a presentation by Lorelou Desjardins, lawyer and writer known for her blog A Frog in the Fjord and book of the same name.

Some with an international background have lived in Norway for many years and master the Norwegian language. Others are new in Norway. We believe that it would benefit the meeting if a diverse group of researchers take part, and we hope that many of you will find the time!

Programme:

  • 12-12.30 – Lunch and getting to know each other
  • 12.30-13.15 – “How to understand Norwegians? A crash course” by Lorelou Desjardins
  • 13.15-14.00 – Discussion and feedback to LiMU

Please register here by 21 August.

Any questions may be directed to the Head of the Committee Vibeke Blaker Strand or to the Committee’s secretary Jenny Graver.
