Hva mener du er viktig?
Arbeidsgruppen for forskningsorganisering skal innhente informasjon om hvordan dagens forskergrupper fungerer, og om hvilke ønsker og behov instituttene, forskergruppene og enkeltforskere har.
- Spørsmålskjemaet vi sender ut til alle fakultetets vitenskapelige ansatte, er begynnelsen på denne informasjonsinnhentingen, forteller forskningsdekan Vibeke Blaker Strand som leder arbeidet.
- Nå får alle mulighet til å gi en tilbakemelding om dagens ordning og hva som er viktig for dem.
I tillegg til spørsmålskjema som sendes alle vitenskapelige ansatte vil gruppen ta kontakt med både instituttene, forskergruppelederne og administrasjonen ved fakultetet.
- Jeg vil oppfordre alle til å benytte muligheten slik at vi får et best mulig grunnlag i arbeidet videre.
Resultat av tidligere evaluering
Fakultetsstyret satte våren 2018 ned en arbeidsgruppe ledet av Ragnhild Hennum for å se på fakultetets organisering. I 2019 forelå rapporten. Det ble blant annet anbefalt at det skulle nedsettes en gruppe for å se nærmere fakultetets forskningsorganisering, herunder forskergruppeordningen.

- Katja Franko, professor, Institutt for kriminologi og rettssosiologi
- Kathrine Broch Hauge, førsteamanuensis, Nordisk institutt for sjørett
- Øyvind Henden, kontorsjef på Institutt for offentlig rett
Sekretær for arbeidsgruppen er Per Jørgen Ystehede.
Resultatet skal presenteres høsten 2021.

The Faculty Board has appointed a Working Group to investigate the faculty's research organisation. They would like your input.
What do you think is important?
The Working Group will investigate and gather information about the faculty's research organisation, including the research group scheme. In addition, to survey the researchers’ needs and requirements concerning the faculty’s future organisation of research.
- The questionnaire we are sending to all academic staff at the faculty is the beginning of starting to gather this information, says Vice-Dean for Research Vibeke Blaker Strand who is heading the working group.
- With this questionnaire, everyone will have the opportunity to have their say about the current research organization and what is important to them.
In addition to the questionnaire, the working group will have meetings with representatives from the departments, the heads of the research group as well as the faculty administration.
- I would encourage everyone to use this opportunity so that we may have the information required to make this assessment.
The outcome of an earlier evaluation report
The Faculty Board appointed in the spring of 2018 a Working Group headed by Ragnhild Hennum to examine the faculty organisation. In the report presented in 2019, one of the recommendations was to further examine the faculty’s research organization.
The members of the Working Group are:

- Øyvind Henden, Administrative head of department, Department of Public and International Law

Their report will be completed by fall of 2021.
